Many people have asked for this page...so I will make it short and sweet. First off ..I think I am a normal person. Even though..what exactly is normal? Some write me and think I am some young "Goth Chick" to create the art I do. Nothing could be more from the truth. My real name is Vicki Messinger..which is where the Vickimess comes from. Not that I am just a mess..even though I am at times. I live in House Springs, Missouri..was born and raised here in Missouri. I did live in San Diego for almost 7 years until a few years ago. That is where I like to consider home..and my dream is to move back there one day. I was born on October the 12th which makes me a Libra for those interested in why I may be considered by some as artistic. I was married to a wonderful person for 16 years ..he passed away suddenly many years ago. I have been single ever since. I have one child, Sherri Messinger who is 32 and a grandson Daniel Messinger who is 7 and my main reason for moving back here from California. Being a grandma is Awesome! As for my art. I rendered my first image in July of 2000. I seem to be like alot of other artists and started out being facinated with Ryan Bliss and Digital Blasphemy. I am still facinated with his work. The main programs I use are Bryce 4/5 and Photoshop . For me..I like it simple. I am self taught. Actually flunked my art class in the 7th grade. Was not creative..or maybe at the time I really did not care. Boys were more interesting than ceramics. I started out with a few landscapes..then worked up to the typical sphere pictures..then I just went off in my own direction. I have a tendency to do a dark abstract. I cannot explain why..when it turns out too bright with vivid colors it ends up in the trash or in Photoshop. Lately I have kept a few bright ones and added them to my site..but they are heading to the recycle bin soon. It just isn't me. Favorite hangouts..3D Commune..I submit a lot of my art there to get feed back, good or bad. As for credits..I have done quite a few book covers..flyers and CD Covers for some bands. Hopefully when I get time they will be added to my site. Well..this was not as short as I hoped..thanks for listening to my dribble. Hopefully it has answered a few questions about me.
